Ranking on outbid.lol costs between $5 and $999,999, in whole-dollar $1 steps. Taking #1 costs at least $5 more than the current #1, raising your own listing costs at least $1 above your rank (charged as the difference), and all payments are final — there are no refunds. Checkout is processed by Dodo Payments in US dollars, and applicable taxes may be added.

What you pay at checkout
- Payments are processed by Dodo Payments; outbid.lol does not collect or store full card numbers.
- Prices are in US dollars. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout — the amount shown before you pay is the offer you're making.
- A rank is assigned when the payment is confirmed and the listing is written to the board, at whatever position that amount supports at that moment.
- Difference payments (raising your own listing) are charged at the difference only — but they're still real payments, subject to the same no-refund rule.
The no-refund policy
The terms are unambiguous: all payments are final and not refundable. Ranking placement is a digital service that starts the moment payment is confirmed — the listing is created or raised, and the amount is counted on the public board. The terms explicitly list the situations that do not create a refund:
- Being outranked later by someone who pays more.
- Dropping off Today's board after 24 hours.
- Getting fewer clicks than you hoped.
- Disliking your assigned category.
- Site downtime.
- A later removal of your listing for breaching the terms.
What a payment buys
This is the sentence to read twice: a payment "buys a chance to appear on the board at the rank that amount can take at the time it is fulfilled." It does not buy traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, exclusive placement, a fixed duration at a specific rank, or search-engine ranking. Someone else can always pay more and outrank you. Treat the payment as advertising spend with uncertain returns — not as purchasing a position you own.
Hidden costs to plan for
- Defense costs. If you want to keep a rank, expect difference payments as challengers arrive. They're small each time and large in total.
- Today-board decay. A payment counts for 24 hours, then drops off — staying on Today's board is an ongoing cost, not a one-time one.
- Company-details requirement. Your listed site must display valid company details; if they're missing, fake, or unverifiable, the listing can be removed without refund.
- Taxes. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout on top of your bid amount.
