For any outbid.lol issue, the official contact routes are email at contact@supastarter.dev and DM to @jonathan_wilke on X (category changes are handled by DM). Before contacting, check this runbook — most issues have a rule-based resolution, and some (chargebacks, missing company details) are handled by policy rather than support.
Payment issues
- Payment not confirmed? A rank is assigned only when payment is confirmed and the listing is written to the board. Checkout runs through Dodo Payments — check the payment status there first, then contact support.
- Taxes added? Amounts are priced in USD and applicable taxes may be added at checkout — the amount shown before you pay is the offer.
- Charged the wrong amount? Raising an existing listing charges only the difference (new amount − current rank). If you were charged the full amount, that's a bug worth reporting — the rules specify the difference charge.
- Disputed a payment? Chargebacks and reversed payments without a legally required basis are a breach of the terms: expect removal of the listing and a ban from the service.
Listing issues
- Wrong category? Categories were auto-assigned by AI. DM @jonathan_wilke on X to have it changed.
- My tracking parameters disappeared? Expected behavior — query parameters are stripped from listing links. Affiliate, referral and tracking URLs won't work.
- My short link got replaced? Also expected — shortener URLs are replaced by the URL they redirect to.
- Two products share a rank? Platform links (App Store, Play Store, GitHub) are keyed by path, so different apps get separate listings. If yours merged, report the paths.
- Duplicate listing? Entering the same URL or @handle again is how you raise — it updates the existing listing rather than creating a new one.
Company-details requirements
This is the most common silent killer of listings. The terms require the listed website to display valid, current company details: the legal name and, where applicable law requires it, a postal address, a working contact method, and any required imprint, business-register, or tax information. Missing, fake, incomplete, or unverifiable details are grounds for removal at any time, without refund. If your listing vanished, check your site's imprint page first.
Removal, takedown & rights notices
- To request a takedown of your own listing, email contact@supastarter.dev. Note: takedown does not undo a completed payment.
- To report a listing that infringes your copyright, trademark, publicity or other rights, email the same address with: (1) your name and contact details; (2) the listing URL on outbid.lol; (3) the destination URL or @handle; (4) a description of the problem; (5) a statement that the notice is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorized to act.
- The operator may refuse, delay, edit, recategorize, hide, or remove any listing at any time — including on complaints, invalid company details, or legal/security/reputational risk — with or without notice, and without refund.
Behavior that gets you banned
The terms prohibit interfering with the service: scraping beyond ordinary browsing, manipulating click counts, bypassing rate limits, automated rank claims without written permission, and reverse engineering (except as allowed by mandatory law). All of these are grounds for removal of listings and refusal of future use.
Before you contact support
- Re-read the rules and the terms — many questions are answered there verbatim.
- Check whether your issue is actually expected behavior (query stripping, shortener replacement, category AI-assignment, Today-board decay).
- Collect your listing URL, the destination URL or @handle, and any payment reference.
